Bit worried

My baby is measuring small. He's measuring to have small limbs too although no other issues alongside that. We are having growth scans every 2 weeks, have one next week. The midwife didn't seem too concerned but said to just call if I needed someone to talk to. Its quite common to have a small baby, even if yourself or partner aren't small or weren't small babies. Hey , I measure 2 weeks behind with the fundal height, went for a growth scan and baby is measuring 52% on the percentile, so it's veryyyyyy inaccurate x

Hey, with my second baby I was told she was too small and and then stopped gaining weight all together so they induced me, turned out they were wrong and she was absolutely fine not underweight at all. The measurements aren’t always very accurate and the best indicator but they will always go by it just to be cautious. Wishing you all the best x

I would t worry. I had this with my first baby. I had a small bump and scans said she would be small and she was born 7lb 7oz. See. Lots of people in similar position as well

I am measuring very small and the bump is visually smaller than average at this stage. Was recommended a growth scan and the baby is measuring fine. Due to pre existing health conditions I was also admitted to the hospital for two days for continuous monitoring but there seemed no reason for concern. So you should be fine :)

I wouldn’t worry! I was measuring on the 97th centile for my first measurement and the next time it had gone up loads and my tummy was 4cm bigger so they sent me for a growth scan and he was only on the 10th centile so the opposite!!

I wouldn't worry I have had many people say to me I have a small bump and I am pleased about this. I have never been introduced or heard of a growth scan until recently and I am expecting my 2nd child 🤔

Hey! I had to go for a growth scan yesterday because at my midwife appointment last week my bump was measuring really small. When I went for my scan they said she’s definitely not small she’s actually larger than expected, said sometimes bumps just aren’t big but babies are healthy and hiding away 🥰❤️

that’s interesting, are you carrying a lot of waters then? My chart came back on the 90th centile today and I’m freaking out 😵‍💫

nope they confirmed that my fluids were fine so all a bit strange but the baby is healthy that’s the main thing!

i was told i was 3rd percentile, had a scan the next day and he was actually measuring a week or so ahead. those fundal heights are ridiculous, and caused me so much stress for no reason. don’t let it get to you, there is most likely nothing wrong
