Really exhausted at this point. I have a toddler who is being super difficult and this heatwave isn’t helping. I’ve been in early labour now for days, I’ve been 3cm for a few days now too. I’m booked in as an outpatient induction slot on Monday if I haven’t progressed before then so they can pop my waters and hope that finally pushes my body to go into established labour. Does anybody know what that means in terms of going home if I’m outpatient? I didn’t think they’d let me go home after popping waters but if possible I’d want to give my body the 24 hours to start on its own before having the drip (I’d like to avoid the drip as much as possible preferably).

Out patient means usually they don't plan on keeping you over 23 hours. Observation is 24 hrs Inpatient is longer. (I'm a admissions person that learned this earlier)
They basically said since I’m already dilated enough I shouldn’t need any gels etc so my slots been changed to an outpatient slot to pop waters and then they said we’ll see from there. Really want a water birth and that’s only possible if I don’t have the drip so I’m reaaaaally hoping the waters being ruptured does the job 💯
