Colic with a 12 day old baby

How long have you used the infacol for? They say to use it for 3/4 days before you start seeing the effect of it

I give my daughter grip water for trapped wind and it really helps sooth her, especially at night Helps with her sleep

@Starasia don't think you can use gripe water for 12day old baby, says on the back 3months plus I think

2 weeks. I just got gas relief drops for newborns until she turned 2 weeks

My baby is colic too, enfacol didn’t really work nor did any probiotics. Some mothers rave about probiotics though. I try massaging his tummy and keeping longer tummy time on me, what also helps us using the pacifier when he’s crying and in pain, helps soothe him.
I think it does get better with time and there’s no real solution for colic 🥹

How do you know if they have colic 😩

The main symptom of colic is a baby crying a lot for no obvious reason.
All babies cry, but your baby may have colic if they cry more than 3 hours a day, 3 days a week for at least 1 week.
They may cry more often in the afternoon and evening.
It may also be colic if:
it's hard to soothe or settle your baby
they clench their fists
they go red in the face
they bring their knees up to their tummy or arch their back
their tummy rumbles or they're very windy
It can start when a baby is a few weeks old. It usually stops by the time they're 6 months old. Xxx

I've heard of colief drops have you tried them xx

We use optibac and apart from some serious fats... he seems more comfortable. Or I just feel he is generally x

I did nothing really seemed to work with my baby. BUT it’s so hard watching him in pain and gassy. It does get a little easier for them to digest with time though. I tried changing formulas which his colic way way way worst, had to switch back to the orginial one I was using.

Been using probiotics BioGaia as I didn’t find infacol helping.

When you know baby is going to cry due to colic, have your coleif drops ready. And put your baby on your tummy by lying down and baby on his stomach. It really helps.
