My 3, nearly 4 year old was due his MMR booster jabs last year November, he still hasn't had them, I feel bad but I've just become uncomfortable with giving him all these jabs when he's so young. Has anyone else missed their child's jabs?

The preschool jabs with the 2nd mmr jab are the last ones until their teenagers so that’ll be it for a long time if you decide to get it done.

It’s your personal choice but I would have them esp because it’s the booster meaning he’s already had some he may aswell complete it. These vaccines are thoroughly tested

Parents don’t always know best unfortunately which is why the Uk has been having a measles outbreak when it had been eliminated. My dad had German measles as a child and his memories of it were horrific due to the isolation he had to endure.
I did know a mum who paid for it to be done separately as she was worried about autism. Turned out the autism was genetic.

If you feel bad for not not taking for his boosters then listen to your instincts and don’t let pseudoscience nonsense get in the way of getting your son his boosters. As someone else has pointed out - measles is coming back and those who don’t get their children vaccinated and say they’re healthy is just luck and they are only lucky because of the parents who get their children vaccinated. If everyone chose not to vaccinate all of the infections that we’ve eradicated would spread like wildfire x

Before you choose not to vaccinate your baby please do some proper research and talk to medical professionals about this and not get your information from social media or websites who may quote a one line sentence from a journal to suit their theory.
It’s a decision that could lead to your child dying or having a life changing condition that you’ll have to live with.
Your child may be healthy today but all it takes is an outbreak of measles or another one of these illnesses and your child could be fighting for their life. Not all countries are fortunate enough to have the vaccine and as more are coming into this country unchecked the more the risk of an outbreak.
Sorry to be a Debbie downer but this is a big decision you can’t take back so shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Vaccination saves lives...and not vaccinating your child leaves them open to diseases like chicken pox, measles, etc. Plus unvaccinated children around vaccinated children can have devastating consequences for both populations. Please vaccinate. These vaccines are actually beneficial. I am NOT an advocate for the flu shot, or any other seasonal type inoculation...but the basic childhood vaccines are SO important.

As alot of the above said. Please do proper research if this is the way you choose to go. We've decided not to do seasonal jabs (flu, covid etc) but she's having childhood vaccines. Some children can't have their vaccines for a number of reasons so by protecting my child from these illnesses I'm protecting the ones who can't have them. Vaccines do save lives. And the reason why they have them all young is protect them throughput their lives
Thank you everyone. We've booked him in for his boosters. I appreciate everyone's input
