Are these appointment dates normal?

I self referred to an NHS hospital last Thursday 7th and received my appointment letters for the following dates this morning, are these dates normal? I can’t possibly wait that long for my first scan!!

3rd Oct - 7wks+6 - midwife
18th Oct - 10wks - midwife
2nd Nov - 12wks +1 - sonographer

Yes normal the dating scan isnt normally until 12 weeks and normally theres 1 booking appointment before it

I’ve booked an early scan privately at 6 weeks as I know I couldn’t wait that long!

I’ve just caved and booked one for 7 weeks as I know I’ll be stressing! x

It’s normal to not have a scan before 12 weeks unless of previous miscarriages or complications I saw u booked a private scan that definitely easy ur anxiety I’ve got one on Friday to easy my anxiety too xx

I know that I would be so anxious and driving my partner crazy too so hopefully that will put my mind at ease! x

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
