Struggling 😔

Baby is up every 2 hours at night, sometimes even every hour. I see posts on here with baby’s sleeping through the night or atleast 3/4 hours at a time. After 5am it feels like he just doesn’t want to sleep in his cot as he cries and when picked up he falls asleep on the lap straight away 🤷‍♀️ (also, he’s always slamming his arms and legs around that time). Even during the day he doesn’t nap much. And at nights putting him to sleep is always a struggle, always crying and then eventually falls asleep.
I’m struggling so much with everything, I don’t even have the energy to entertain him during wake time because I’m so low on energy.
What am I doing wrong?😔

I am feeling exactly the same. It is so draining being up in the night so frequently and Ive come to dread bedtime. Keep going we can get through this. Just keep reminding yourself they aren't this little forever. X

Our little boy doesn’t go back into the crib after 4am feed. I’ve seen other posts say similar so we came to accept that its contact nap time / co sleeping safely 4-7am! Its made it less stressful for us.
We’ve also been doing contact naps during the day. Which can be frustrating as theres lots to be done around the house but i try to see it as rest time for me too. Will certainly try using the sling around the house with him in it. I heard thats an option!

Sleep advice…

I need some mummas advice and tips 🙏🏼

Currently my baby is 4 months and sleeps in my bed in between me and my husband. Shes snuggled in her docatoc with a love-to-dream swaddle (arms up rather than arms tucked down) during the day she’s in her Moses basket in the front room, in the same swaddle.

But I feel like it’s time to change things for these reasons…

1. She’s outgrowing the docatoc at night
2. She starting to try and roll so need to remove the swaddle
3. During the day, she is so sensitive to noise and light, I feel maybe she needs to start napping upstairs where it’s quiet and dark.

So my plan is to move her to the next to me crib that’s been gathering dust, and put her in a sleep sack at night. And during the day, put her upstairs in a sleep sack, but not in the next to me, she actually has her own room with a cot and black out curtains, I thought I’d put her in there during the day. She is very much used to her room. I often put her in the cot while she’s awake when I’m getting ready in the morning and she happy in there.

I feel like this is all a lot to change at once, should I do things slowly? I don’t know how to make these changes without freaking her out.

Help!!

Being sick PP

Hiya, I need some advice if this has happened to anyone PP.

Since around 7/8 months PP I started being sick here and there, I put it down to stress due to work. However it stopped for a month or so but it’s just started back up again I’m a year PP.

I’m due back to work soon so could be stress but it feels more, physically I feel like my body is giving up on me abit just achey tummy, back & legs just feel very week and achey (lack of sleep and exhaustion) but wondering if anyone else had this PP and what it was?

I’m still breastfeeding to. Struggling to come away from it as my baby relies on it so much especially when teething but maybe it’s getting too much for me.

I am going to go to the doctors but it being the weekend and a long wait for apts I’m just wondering in the mean time🙏🏻

Help! 3 car seats!

Hello,

I’m looking for somewhere I can get specialist car seat advice, I’m expecting baby 3 and so we need to upgrade to 3 seats.

We have a discovery 5, 7 seater and a bmw 3GT. I’d like expert advice and someone who can help guide us through the fitting/seat combination options. It’s likely the disco will become the family car, but we also need flexibility to fit in the BMW.

Based in Wiltshire, along the Berks boarder. Anyone know of any somewhat local places that can help?

Introducing baby to your toddler

How are you planning to do that? Bringing your toddler to hospital or are you waiting till you're back from hospital? I have a 2yo toddler. He has no idea hes about to become a big brother. Just don't know what's best for him.
Also hes a nursery child. What's your advise in regards to this? Skipping a few days or continuing with his routine?
