Should I sterilise a dummy and put it in a pot straight into my hospital bag ?

I have the same question! I asked my sister and she said things don’t really stay sterile more than 24-48 hours so you’re best to do it once you start feeling contractions, or just before you go in if you’re planned. She also said that at the hospital they often don’t need a dummy as they are very sleepy from labour etc it’s not until your home for a few days they start to pick up! Totally up to you of course! I would wait as late as you can 😃

Yh I don’t think I will pack one I’ll just wait until we are home x

Dummies aren’t recommended until 3-4 weeks after birth due to the chance it can ruin establishing feeding. Ask your midwife about this and they can give you more information and advice

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
