Who to invite for P1 birthday party!

Hi everyone I need a wee bit of advice! My oldest has just started p1 and is having her birthday in next couple of weeks. Feeling a bit lost about the whole etiquette around who and how to invite kids in her class to her party. As her birthday is at start of year she hasn’t been invited to anyone else’s yet. What’s the done thing for this age group? I’m thinking just a couple of ones that she talks most about and keep it small as if I ask loads and leave out some I don’t want that to cause any issues! Prob overthinking but would love some advice!! Thanks

Do what suits u & ur budget. Some invite the close friend group some the whole class. Also depends on the type of party u plan to have at your own house/party venue etc. don’t spend loads to please others

We’re having the same issue for at my
Little girls crèche (she’s going to her 4th party in as many weeks!) but obviously a lot of places are pay per child to attend and there are around 20 in her class. So I asked one of the room leaders what everyone else is doing and she told me that if booking a community hall with a bouncy castle etc where there’s a flat rate for room hire, then everyone tends to get invited. If it’s somewhere that’s pay per child then they’ll ask a few they’re close with. Maybe ask one of the teachers what’s been done in the past and see if they can help?

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
