EBF baby introducing a bottle of expressed milk

I’d like to start introducing a bottle of expressed breast milk to my baby but unsure of how many mls/ oz to give in each feed as I have no idea how much my little boy takes for each feed currently. What are peoples experiences with this?

Midwife has made me aware of paced feeding but any other tips for introducing the bottle of expressed milk would be appreciated!

My daughter is 3 weeks old and our midwife said 70-80ml every 3-4 hrs is right for breast milk in a bottle for her age ,she’s 8lb6 now , but if you haven’t gave them a bottle yet maybe just put 30-40ml in and see if they get used to the teat and then if they finish that you can always add more milk until they are full (you just don’t want to waste your breast milk if you put loads in the bottle and they don’t finish it , it’s heartbreaking when you have pumped 😂😫)

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
