Anti reflux formula

After being advised by the health visitor, I put my 3 week old on anti reflux formula, which has significantly reduced the amount he throws up. But the size 3 teat (mam) gives me such bad anxiety 😫 the formula is too thick to go through a size 1 or 2 teat, but I feel like the size 3 is too fast for him!
I have to give him regular breaks, and he often coughs and spits some out.
Any tips??

We have given this in a size 1 tommee tepee as that's all we have right now he seems okay with it so far

I just tried with a tommee tippee bottle with a size 1, and he still can't get anything out! He's on the cow and gate anti reflux, which one do you use?

Aptimil he manages 2 oz out of 4 takes slightly longer but he got there may need more sooner as I'm sure it's not his usual but hv/ midwife did suggest bigger teat as if its thicker slow flow means he has to work hard to get it but bigger seems scary 😨

oh maybe aptamil isn't as thick as cow and gate... my boy can't even get it out of a size 2! The size 3 is so scary, have to constantly give him breaks because I think he's going to gulp too fast and choke!

I mean it is thick but we batch make so heating it back up may help it not be as thick

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7
