Tired

I’m exhausted. It’s not that I don’t have help. My partner and mom are here and always willing to help.

But this is a different kind of tired. My little one is 8weeks old and cries all the time - whether I pick her up to burp or take her for a nap, massage her or change her clothes/ diapers. Anything and everything just makes her cry. And then I see posts of people who have all these smiling babies. I love her to death, and I’m trying hard not to compare, but when does this get better? I can’t do anything fun with her - take her for a walk, play on the gym mat, read a book without her crying within seconds. I’m already feeling defeated as a mom 😔

I just saw a video about a baby who wouldn't stop crying and they took the baby to a baby chiropractor and they did an adjustment that helped the baby so much. The caption talked about how it's more common than people realize so it might be worth a try 🤷‍♀️
Also I'm pretty sure fussiness peaks between 6-8 weeks

I feel the same way about the posts of others when they talk about their babies sleeping through the night lol 😂

My girl is almost 10 weeks and we’re seeing gradual improvement . She definitely cried a lot at 8 weeks though , I heard that 6-8 weeks is when crying peaks

My little one is 7 weeks and she cry’s almost all day when she isn’t eating or sleeping. It’s exhausting. She does sleep for a long stretch at night but It makes me sad seeing other babies looking so content and happy 😭

we brought ours at 5 weeks… it helped with his digestion- he literally cleared his little system out after only minimal poops for two ish days, he was visibly more comfortable, and he didn’t have nearrrly as many scream cry fits… whatever voodoo she did really helped our son… we see her once a week now.

I’m sorry you’re going through this too. I know it’s hard. Strength to you 💕

I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. I know it’s so exhausting and I’m sure you’re doing everything in your control too. I don’t know what more can be done, but I hope this gets better soon for all of us 😔

thank you so much for sharing this! We have a little checklist of our own too to keep baby happy- diaper, food, burps, swaddle. I’ll surely check about the other things too.

I’ve also heard that babies peak around 2 months. But what bothers me is that she’s kinda always been fussy. I’m trying to take it slow too because I know one day she’ll be all grown up and this will be a thing if the past :)

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
