I’m gonna get the flu jab but not sure about the covid vaccine yet

I’ve had the flu jab. Better to be safe than sorry especially as we are approaching the colder months!

I’ve had the flu jab yesterday I have it every year as I have asthma and work in NHS and had it in my last pregnancy. I am less sure about the covid vaccine as both my dad and my sister got Bell’s palsy days after having it

Personal choice, but I didn’t have mine and won’t again due to becoming very poorly after the flu jab with my first daughter, I stayed in hospital for 5 weeks straight in an isolated unit on the birthing ward that I didn’t even know existed, it was awful x

I'm getting both as soon as possible, booked in for this Saturday! Babies get really sick if they get flu, so it is really important you avoid catching it and passing it to them.

I've gone against it as I seem to have a reaction to it every time, but I'm due beginning of November but it will probs be October baby

Flu jab yes, covid jab probably no

Had it in my first pregnancy last year and definitely having again this time! It will protect baby when born also! X

No I wont.They don't work and actually comes with side effects and god knows what it do to baby..

Had my flu last week during work as i work at the hospital. I get them yearly anyway, including when i was pregnant in 2021 but defo get in pregnancy as its good for baby. Its not a live vaccine so generally no issues, just a sore arm for a day or so.

I also got the whooping cough jab at my 20 week appt.
I am not vaxxed against covid though, nor do i intend to ever.

Yep had flu jab the other week and will take COVID if offered (not sure if pregnancy makes us 'vulnerable enough '!). Baby will have all her vaccines too, science shows they're all worth it

can you show me any research or links that you may have found please as I’m struggling to make a decision about the covid vaccine bc it really wrecked me last time and my friend was paralysed for months so I’m just very cautious whether to take it

(6 Day Old Baby girl)

My baby girl doesn’t seem to wake up herself for any feeds, if I don’t wake her she will just sleep all day which is concerning to me. I have brought it up with community midwife who I saw on Saturday they did the checks and said baby is healthy and doing well. She has little bit of jaundice but midwife said that will go away on its own and that the more she feeds the quicker it will go. I’m a first time mum so please be kind and understanding. But I’m worried my daughter, has anyone else experienced this and what do I do?

Screwed up bedtime 😂

Is bedtime screwed for anyone else tonight? Clocks obvs gone forward, we’ve lost an hour. My daughter is usually asleep by 7.45/8, but here we are.. wide awake 🫩

Gift to toddler from baby 🥹

I’m due to give birth in 9wks and we would like to get a gift for our 2yr old from the baby! Does anyone have any suggestions what this could be? Was thinking maybe something sentimental/ keepsake related and also something practical like a new toy to occupy him for the first 2 days…..

14 months not walking

He’s not taken any independent steps.
Is this ok?
He will walk along with a walker but he just has not taken steps without holding onto something.

Long car journey

Random question but after some advice. I’ve got to do a 3.5 - 4 hour car journey with my little one. It will just be us in the car and we will plan lots of stops along the way. But due to just it being us 2 in the car do I keep her in the back with the isofix base as that’s the safest place to be (can see her via a mirror) or do I have her via a seatbelt in the passenger seat. (obviously in a car seat but strapped in via a seatbelt) in the passenger seat so I can keep a better eye on her?

Screaming 4 1/2 month old

Anyone else have a screaming 4 1/2 month old? I’ve tried everything to soothe him (pacifier, feeding, sleep, nappy change, bath, play and a walk) but nothings working😩 I can’t tell if he’s teething or if there’s something else bothering him. He screams even louder at his dad. I need advice and help please☹️
