Gift to toddler from baby 🥹

I’m due to give birth in 9wks and we would like to get a gift for our 2yr old from the baby! Does anyone have any suggestions what this could be? Was thinking maybe something sentimental/ keepsake related and also something practical like a new toy to occupy him for the first 2 days…..

When my 2nd was born th 1st got cranes and trucks a train set he kept asking for, when we had the 3rd we got the kids a play set kitchen, a shop till and a tonne of books ... To this day the eldest tells me which sibling got him what! And th books helped massively for th early bfeeding days

If you haven't already, a baby doll is a good idea so your older child can mimic you taking care of a baby and feel involved.

I'm putting together a little box of things, new toy, colouring, big bro T-shirt and a sweet treat like a gingerbread treat. I like the sound of a keepsake gift too though. I'm also going to take him to go and choose a gift to bring to the hospital when he meets baby (or pick a teddy to give to her) so they can exchange gifts when they meet

We got my daugther her first "big sister" t shirt and a fairy tree house building set.

Our baby gifted our oldest a unicorn digital camera which she absolutely loves, the photos aren't the best quality but its beautiful to see the world through her eyes, there are some lovely photos! She also got gifts from other members of our family like her own baby to feed, change and care for, and activity books which helped when we were hanging around at the hospital and over the first few days.
We also got her to choose a toy for her new baby brother

We got a car garage and dad built it wirh him for some bonding time . A book and a teddy too

Anyone get their son a baby doll? Did they love it?
Thinking of getting mine one for christmas as he's gravitated towards one a couple of times at a toddler group. For context my son will be 18 months, nearly 19 months at Christmas.

Refusing nap at age2 help!

My little one is 2y 2m old. She has just all of a sudden stopped napping. Nursery told me they spend half hour with her and she won't sleep and same at home. I'm really worried nursery will stop trying. But she just will not settle down at all all of a sudden. Help please. It's way too early for her to drop the nap!

CMPA? (Photo)

My baby is really congested overnight. She’s always congested - but particularly more snorty after a bottle of Kendamil. She’s primarily breast fed with one bottle of formula a day in the afternoon. Her poops are also explosive and look like this. Does this look like CMPA, so sorry for the photo! Two first poops from two different mornings. Will add the second to the comments.

Travelling with a 1 year old

Can I put a car seat in the front passenger seat for travelling with my baby?! He hates the car and just cries if he’s in the back by himself. I have family 4 hours drive away and I have to do the travel alone most of the time. It’s so stressful and exhausting trying to entertain him and I can’t just let him cry. How do you travel with a baby who hates the car? 😩

Can anyone recommend a car seat, looking at an isofix base and a seat that grows with baby as gets older.
Currently ordered the Jole 180 the downside is it doesnt remove from base and thinking a 2nd car seat with a handle?

Any help is appreciated!

Sleepless nights due baby nonstop crying on and off for over 2/3 hours

I’m literally at breaking point, with my baby, his 3 week old and there’s some nights where he will do a screaming party in the early hours of the morning and it’s nonstop crying and I feel like a awful mum for it, I try everything to settle him and he not having none of it, and when I got my son checked at hospital because I was so worried they said he was healthy which is good news that he healthy just feel deflated and hopeless mum, and it’s destroying my mental health, at the minute.
I don’t remember my oldest boy being anything like this, I remember doing feeds and he’d stay up but not the screaming constantly.
