Swimming with new born following section

Hello lovelies.

I hope everyone is doing good after their sections and all healing well😊

I had my 6-8 weeks check with doctors yesterday and I meant to mention to the doctor that I will be going swimming and I wanted to check my scarring was fully ok to do so. The appointment went great and both myself and baby are doing fantastic!

But course I forgot to ask about the swimming (baby brain)!!!!! I did mention that I would be going but didn’t say when (there was no objections). However, I am planning to go this weekend on our holidays.

My question is;
Once you got this appointment did anyone go swimming straight away? I would have called in the morning but with the bank holiday weekend I’m sure they are closed🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
