Hi my baby is 6 and half months, i started weaning at 5 and half. He gradually started refusing having his bottle feed after 4th month and he was taking very less amount of milk now he is having no milk at all, even in sleep or awake he just hate the milk. Although he is having 3 semi solid meals. Apparently he looks ok but he is getting thin from last month.
i’m very much concerned about his nutritional intake… He is 7.5 KG.
Sometimes when he finishes his last meal in evening then he takes his next meal in next morning and he is hungry for 15 hours still he refuses to have milk.
I’m very upset.

He needs the milk, even if it means cutting back one meal, all baby’s nurtiend comes from their milk. Food before 1 is usually for fun x

I would stick to 1 meal or 2 meals only until his milk intake increases.

To add to the advice above... I would try different types of bottles/ nipple flow rates or brands of formula.

I’m guna give you the opposite advice. He does need milk, but some babies very rarely prefer solid food to milk. And I hope you don’t mind but I looked at your previous posts and it seems him refusing his bottle has been an ongoing battle for you. I know it’s tough and you’re doing your best! When he’s hungry but refusing his bottle maybe instead you could mix him up some porridge and use his milk to mix in with it. Try incorporating his milk into meals. Get creative 🤷🏼♀️. Still offer his milk as and when you can. But if you’re getting upset chances are your son can feel that and is equally having a hard time during those feeds. You can buy vitamins too to put in his food. You’re doing a amazing and some babies just prefer foods. Obviously don’t just blindly take my advice. Ask for medical advice too. Try get referred to a paediatrician. They could give you the best advice. Good luck ♥️

I’d try formula in a straw cup! We used the ones that look like honey bears. You can also make smoothies with formula or breastmilk and fruit
