Anterior Placenta, anyone?

Hello all. New to the group here and need some support. I’m 29 weeks pregnant and have an anterior placenta. Some say it’s a blessing in disguise because it acts like a blanket with the baby kicks. This is my first pregnancy, so I feel more sad than anything that I can barely feel the kicks unless they’re big jabs! Has anyone else experienced this? If you have, did you worry because you were feeling your baby move as much?

I've got an anterior placenta and feel movements if they're out to the sides. I've nothing to compare it to so not worried! He's getting himself into a nice pattern now and, as long as he sticks to that, he's OK. X

that’s where I feel him, too. Off on my sides! He’s not a mover so I’m so thankful when I do feel him. I guess it’s more of the first time mom jitters not feeling movement as often. Thank you for easing my mind❤️

Try not to compare your baby to others. They're all different and will all develop different patterns. It's about figuring out what's normal for your baby.
If you ever are worried though, please contact your assessment unit. They'd rather see you every day and everything be fine than not see you on the one day that it isn't. X

I’ve had it in both my pregnancy’s:)my daughter didn’t moved so much too but my son did a lot and I would feel him almost non stop 😂

I have an anterior placenta and am 29 weeks as well. If I’m not laying still I rarely notice her move. So on days when I’m up and busy it’s easy to worry something is wrong. But it’s been like that my entire pregnancy so I try not to worry since it’s “normal” for me at this point.

Does anything else feel different ? This is interesting !

I have an anterior placenta too. I am 27 weeks and 5 days. I hardly ever feel her move. Barely started feeling flutters at 24 weeks.

I'm 28w2d and baby is measuring in the 90th percentile and is super active (we have frequent growth scans)... I still almost never feel her.

this is my first pregnancy, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but nothing different so far. Maybe more of the fact that I look a tad bit later in my pregnancy than what I really am! 🤗 that’s so awesome! Once we get into the sonogram he moves like crazy so I’m thinking he’s very active, just don’t feel the little man dancing around! lol

That's me, I'm 22weeks pregnant and sometimes feel her move and other times I don't like felt her move 3 days ago abit Low, but today nothing or that I've noticed

Constantly worried honestly draining 😪

I have an anterior placenta and didn’t even start feeling flutters or any kind of movements till almost 23 weeks. I was super stressed, but I’m almost 27 weeks now and feel enough random kicks throughout the day to know baby’s there and not worry as much. I was bummed at first but now I’m just grateful that I’m not getting kicked in the ribs and repeatedly in the bladder like others seem to be 😅

Is this normal?

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Hey what are your current symptoms?

I’m 37+5

I’m pretty mobile still but anything over a hour or 2 and I’m in discomfort

Getting up from a sitting position is hard

Some of baby’s movements now are bordering on painful especially around my crotch/pelvis

I’m exhausted very easily and nap every single day

Can basically only breathe out my mouth now and I’m snoring and dribbling 😂

Standing in one leg is very painful 😂

Some waves of pain/ tightening but I regular and mild

Low period type aches

And I feel like a fire breathing dragon with this acid reflux

My nose is growing 😂

My fingers swell slightly and go numbs in my sleep so that and constant toilet breaks keep me up ( checked swelling with MW and consultant and all normal, not a worry)

I also do not want to be social in person like I’d rather everyone just be my penpal atm lol

What are your symptoms?
