I tested positive on Thursday when I was 8dp6dt. My OTD is Monday. What happens after the call with the hospital? Do you have bloods to confirm? A scan?

When is your care transferred to a midwife?

Firstly, congratulations! So typically you have a couple of blood draws to make sure your HCG is increasing. Then you have a confirmatory ultrasound around 7 or 8 weeks. Then you are transferred to your regular OB doctor after that ultrasound. If you are on progesterone, you are instructed to stop around 10-12 weeks or so, depending on the clinic. I had transfered fresh last Saturday, when should i do pregnancy test?

when I did my frozen transfer I got a positive on day 7 after transfer but I can't speak for fresh as neither of mine resulted in pregnancy unfortunately. Best of luck! ❤️

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
