Mucus plug & sweep

I had a sweep yesterday at 39+5 (second baby) and lost my mucus plug last night. Has anyone else been in the same situation and if so how long did it take for labour to start after a sweep or losing the plug?
I didn’t have a sweep or lose my plug with my first baby so I’m not really sure what to expect this time round! Just so desperate to not be pregnant anymore 🙈

I had a sweep last week on Thursday (39+6) lost mucus plug the day after, water broke Sunday morning 6am and baby girl was here at 8.30am. 46 minute labour so could be very soon for you.

I had lots of mild “contractions” for 2 days after my sweep but they stopped on Saturday and I felt different, extra tired and back ache but no contractions until after my water broke then they were 2-3 mins apart

Wow that’s crazy! 46 minutes 🙈 I’ve had a bath this evening and felt some light cramping but nothing like contractions, it’s also stopped now so I’m not convinced it was anything to get excited over!!
With my first born I woke up and my waters broke as I got out of bed at 39+2 so to still be going (40 weeks tomorrow) is all new for me.
Definitely feeling extra tired this evening and have also had back ache but other than that no sign of baby making an appearance any time soon, fingers crossed he decides to show up in the next few days 🤞🏼🤞🏼 xx

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
