It can be normal, I had it first time around. My friend had the same but found she has low iron so worthwhile keeping an eye on it and speaking to your midwife if it gets unbearable.
Yeah I get this, scared me a bit at first but it’s completely normal!
I've had issues previously with eptopics, palpitations, singles, couplets, tachycardia and bradycardia but it's got worse and it's so scary!! I keep getting hard thuds which I think is palpitations every so many minutes 😕 I have a heart scan and ecg monitor next week thankfully but it feels so awful! I get anxious and then they come even more 🙄 I had them throughout the night keeping me up and consistently all morning so far too 😬 How awful are they! Xxx
@Victoria how do you cope with them? Do you ignore them and carry on? Xx
@Fliss Graham ah I will check the bloods I've had done thankyou x
@Jasmine may I ask if you get them alot? Xx
@Charl aw sorry to hear that, hopefully the scan and ecg will ease your anxiety🤞🏽 I just checked with my midwife and she assured me it was normal due to the extra blood as your heart can pump 10-20seconds more a minute so once I knew that it eased my anxiety and i tend to feel it less now. I also tend to get it more at night where I feel likes it going to pop out my chest🤦🏽♀️ do you find that?xx
Yes, mines more in the evening and through the night, I can feel my heart beating alot faster then usual and thats when they come on. Its definitely scary! I'm so worried with me only being 13 weeks of what's to come! I had a heart scan 6 years ago that came back that my heart was structurally safe, thwy want to re check as it's been a while and things may of changed, I find I get palpitations due to hormones such as ovulation, periods and also stress so I think this pregnancy may be increasing them due to the blood flow and the hormones 😬 xxxx
@Charl yes everyday, many times! Tbh they just feel funny now, I haven’t changed anything just ignore them and carry on x
It’s normal in pregnancy due to increase blood flow, I’m 34 weeks & still have them now!
