Hi guys looking for some advice, we currently have the V2 Ickkle bubba travel system, my LB is 3 months old in a weeks time and we currently use the lying down bassinet option on our pram/travel system, as the other option seat unit for a only advertised to be use from 6 months+ and not from birth. Has anyone changed over from there bassinet sooner, as my LB now shows more interest in looking around and cries when he is just staring at a blank wall in the bassinet, I know I can give him enrichment to look at but just wanted some advice. We are also going abroad in November and think it would be easier to take the seat unit then the bassinet so he can look around he will be 4 months old when we go on hoilday. If not we will purchase a cheapish travel stroller that’s suitable from birth, is the only difference between this and the seat unit on my travel system that the stroller from birth are fully reclining with the legs straight, where as my pram is a seat uni but still tilts back. Any advice is appreciated thank you. (Picture for attention)

great thank you and how old is your little one if you don’t mind me asking, I wish ours was suitable from birth I think I’m going to have to purchase one of these strollers instead😞xx

The key thing is that the next seat (the 6months + one) goes flat. If it goes flat you can switch over at any time. This is purely as the guidance says LOs should be lying down flat as much as possible for first 6 months. I have the mamas and papas occarro so we will be switching long before the 6 month mark (as my little one is about an inch off outgrowing the bassinet as 10 weeks!). Hope that helps 😊
On the travel point, there are a lot of travel strollers that go flat too. Depending on price range there are kinderkraft, joie, mamas and papas, babyzen ones. There are loads of others they are just the ones I am looking at for travel 😊

He will be 11 weeks tomorrow, we used it for the first time when he was about 7 weeks xx

We've been using our sitting unit for a few weeks now. He was getting annoyed with the carrycot as he couldn't see the world around him. The sitting unit does go flat and is suitable from newborn though. He is 11 weeks on Monday

hi Lauren, how did you get on in the end with the seat unit, my LO is 3 months old today and I’ve just put the seat unit on the pram to try, do you permanently use yours now? X

Hey we’ve been getting on well, he seems to really enjoy it, he was never unsettled in the carrycot part but is just a very nosey baby, I think he likes that he can see us better too xx

okay great to know, my lo loves it! X
