My baby has some jaundice but tests came back below the treatment line, I’m still worrying about her. She’s feeding nicely and is having wet and dirty nappies but could someone just let me know how many feeds/how much she should be having and how many dirty and wet nappies? Everything online says something different. She’s 4 days old and the midwife is visiting tomorrow but just want to have everything fresh in my mind so I can raise concerns with her if she’s not where she should be :)

Following! Very similar with my LO 6 days old

Jaundice is really common in babies, I remember my first looked like the Simpsons but was still below the threshold for treatment :) make sure they're in sunlight as well as this helps massively! Also if your BF bare in mind it can take longer to clear. As long as they're having I think 6 wet nappies a day and pooing regularly (the exact amount changes from baby to baby) then that's good, also at this age they're only usually drinking 1-2oz every 3 hours sometimes more which is great! My boy had the same. Went to a&e when he was 3 days old because he had yellow eyes and his level didn’t require treatment. He’s now 3 weeks old. Hasn’t cleared completely but getting there. Make sure you’re baby is getting plenty of daylight xx
