I’ve just read if you ovulated from the left side you have a girl and right side you have a boy. Does anyone know if this is true for them?

Not heard of this! How would you know???

Right side and having a girl. How would that work? Gender is dependent whether sperm with chromosome X or Y get first to the egg

I felt myself ovulate on the left side pretty much every month when I was ttc - the dull ache was I assumed when the egg was being released. I had a boy!
I was scanned at the early pregnancy unit and they told me they can see the egg came from the left side. I also had pain left side x
no idea. I just googled ovulated from left side and that’s what came up. I really am hoping for a boy that’s why I asked x
amazing thank you for the info x

Still chance, good luck xx

I’m with , the gender is determined by the sperm. I found this that explains it a little better https://youtu.be/_2rnG4CmFOQ?si=BhCGxWEHcOzovVtc
thank you. I know it’s not scientifically true. It’s one of those mothers myths

If you’re trying to guess the sex. Family history is a good predictor, does your partner have brothers or sisters, aunts or uncles for example. My husband has brothers and we have six nephews on his side so we know that we will most likely have a boy! Boys everywhere 😂

Yep, true for me. I had an early scan due to bleeding. Found out I ovulated from the right, and I did have a boy!
