False labour ?

39 weeks anyone else been woken up with terrible period like cramps lasting a few minutes thinking this is it ! Then nothing, no more cramps or further symptoms ?! MIL just said how weird that was 🤦‍♀️

Probably braxton hicks/ pelvic pain where baby is head down. Ring triage if you’re worried and they’ll advise you x

Yes, I've had a few nights of this and then nothing the next day. Currently 40 + 5 so it's quite frustrating! I think it's body just preparing.

Was absolutely convinced yesterday it was the start 39+3 .. Had cramps, then in the evening it just all stopped.

Woke up this morning still very pregnant and no pains at all. 😊 the joys of these last few days/week. haha.

Yup I had one really bad contraction last night. Then nothing. 39 +2

Have had exactly this since Saturday. I think it can be quite common but frustrating! I’m trying to treat every day like a reset and keep positive but easier said than done! X

It could also be the early stages of labour which can go on for weeks before proper labour

38+6 and I was the same last night a few cramps thought oh yes this is it🤣 then absolutely nothing x

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
