Mucus plug, how do I know?
I've just been to the toilet and wiped and had quite a fair Splodge of yellowy, sticky discharge. My normal discharge throughout pregnancy has just been white and lines my underwear, but this was definitely like a blob which I've not had before. How do I know if this is just heavier discharge than normal or my mucus plug?

Yellow/sticky sounds more like discharge, thrush even..
I was under the impression mucus plug was stringy, clear with some blood

Trust me when it’s your mucous plug you’ll know. Its different to discharge. It’s guey, whitish/clear. It’s like a blob for want of a better term! I definitely felt it when I lost my mucous plug the first time around
@Gina Ahhh okay, thank you! It just seemed out of the ordinary but that's definitely different to what I've seen!
I experience this last week it wasn't like normal discharge I wiped andnit was yellow and quite thick x

Yea it was very strange never had that b4 this is.my 6th pregnancy x
