Our daughter was prescribed nutramigen for possible cmpa however seems to now be suffering with reflux. Burping and bringing up milk during feed, spitting up, restlessness during but mainly after a bottle like drawing her legs up etc.
Any tips, is this common? I feel so bad for her!

I had this issue with my firstborn the sphincter at the bottom of her esophagus was premature because she was born a couple weeks early I would call the pediatrician and let them know they will most likely prescribe her ranitidine for the acid reflux or if you can try to keep her in an upright position after feeding and while feeding keep her at almost like a backslash angle like the backslash we have on our keyboard

My little boy was like this after starting on his sma althera apparently it’s common for babies with CMPA to develop reflux so my doctor just suggested trying a thickener to see if it helps, I ordered the cow and gate and it’s worked a treat, keeps majority of his bottle down now but speak to your doctor first as your little girl might be different!

yeah with my daughter they told me to put baby oatmeal in her bottle on top of the ranitidine and my son he's on nutramigen because of the cow milk allergy but he doesn't need anything for excess spit up or reflux but like Nicola said call his pediatrician and they'll probably have you come in they'll check him out and either put him on reflux meds or have you add a thickener to his formula
