I understand what you mean! I'm so shy that I hate meeting and trying to talk to new people. The few people that we do occasionally hang out I only through my husband. I thought it would have been so much easier to find other mom friends but it definitely isn't.

When I moved it took me forever to meet people. My son started playing sports and through that I started chatting with the other parents and slowly started connecting to them through various seasons at the YMCA. I have never been good at initiating congratulations or activities with others and I had to force myself to start chatting with random parents, ask questions and even invite them to things like dinner after a game or coffee. Its completely out of my comfort zone and I am happy I did it. I still dont have serious friends yet but the occasional conversation or dinner out is a start.

I’m in south florida always looking to find be build a new friendship. Been struggling at this as well as it was so easy when we were young and now just seems so much harder

You’re at the check out and notice the cashier gives you senior citizen discount. You’re very clearly under the cut off. Would you be excited for the extra savings or offended?

Turns out Monday morning at my Kroger and the lady slipped it in without saying anything. This has happened to my mom before and we were both obviously happy with a random discount but one of my sisters in law said she’d die if that happened to her because she’d be so embarrassed 😂

What is something you’d never buy second hand and can’t believe people do. For me it’s clearly very worn shoes or mattresses🥴

I left my son to watch tv alone in my room while I switched the laundry over and not 2 minutes went by before I got a notification thanking me for a 1 year peacock subscription of $116.

Luckily Roku refunded me and I’ve since added a pin but now I know it really is that easy for kids to make quick and expensive purchase without us knowing.

Second income/side hustle.

HELP! What are you decent and genuine source of second incomes or side hustles if you have one? My maternity leave is due to end as my baby will be 6 months. Cannot afford to be on SMP or go part time. I would love to go part time and do something else as well as.

I had a friend group of me and 2 other people. One of them was my best friend. I would play games with her, call her, and text her everyday. I was really really close with her. The other girl was my friend. She never texted me first. We only talked if she texted us in the group chat or if we all played Minecraft together. We all had a Minecraft world together that we played on. I’m not friends with either of them anymore since last night and I’m having a really hard time dealing with it. It really hurts. This is also not related to this situation but I also just lost my other friend. I’m going through so much right now.
