How much formula does your baby drink?

My one will be 9 weeks tomorrow and has been mostly on 6oz since just before turning 8 weeks.

My little boy is 7 weeks old and will take anything from 3-7oz every 2-3 hours, I would suggest just offering your little one more and see how much they take, babies will only eat what they want and it can range every feed x

I recently upped the bottles from 5 to 6 ounces for our 8-week old. Sometimes he drinks all of it and other times less. I wouldn’t worry too much about overfeeding. You can calculate depending on their weight how much feed they should be getting in a day and then divide that by number of bottles they normally have, to get a sense of quantities. Usually if ours finishes the bottle I would poor a little more to see if he’s still hungry. If he ends up taking too much (because he didn’t realise he was full) then he’ll spit it back up.

Ano u worry your giving them too much but there weight has a lot to do with how much more they take aswell so obviously a bigger baby will be naturally more hungry, my wee boy is 12.3lbs what weight is your wee one? xx

yeah like during the day he seems more hungry but he’s fine at night an will only get up like once during the night for a feed x

yeah I was thinking of just putting him an oz instead of the hungrier milk because a lot of people say that doesn’t really work an ended up making there babies with like bad trapped wind an I don’t want that as we thought my wee boy had colic but after I put him on 5oz he’s been sleeping anol a lot better but can still be pretty unsettled at times especially during the day xx

yeah my wee boy was weighing 12.3lbs at his 6 week appointment, an he was measuring long aswell an on the 75th placentile xx
