First big cricut project

a cricut is a machine for cutting. You make your design on the computer and the cricut cuts the shape out of a material that you load into the machine. Commonly people use it for vinyl transfers. You load in a vinyl sheet which is a top layer of sticky backed vinyl and a bottom later of non-sticky paper. The cricut is programmed to cut through the vinyl layer but not the paper beneath it. Once you've removed any bits of vinyl that aren't part of the design from the paper backing you can use transfer paper to lift your design and then stick it onto another surface, like the wall in this case. like explained really. Starred off doing smaller things like cards and keychains and then moved on to giving this a try too. The maker model can do so much more allowing you to work with wood too. Can't wait to give that a try next.
