Outward facing carrier

Hey, I know the guidelines for carriers facing outwards is generally 6 months, has anyone done this sooner? Just curious if anyones put their baby this way earlier? My little boy has good head control & is very nosey so just wondering if I should try him but don’t want to cause him any harm if any.

Thank you ☺️

I did for about the last 15 mins when I went on a walk and he was fully awake, he was 3 months then but had good head control and he loved it. I tried it again the other day and he is now 4 months but he was just slumped down looking at the floor, he just didn't look right....so I turned him back round and he fell straight to sleep. So I think it depends on whether they are fully awake or due a nap, just my opinion though xx

I’ve tried it but for a short period of time! She got a bit restless after a while. With my first I think she was 5 months when I did it xx

My LB is so nosey he gets upset sometimes in the carrier facing me as he wants to see what’s going on. He’s the same, good head control and a strong neck. I’ve turned him a few times but not for long periods of time and only when I know he will be awake and not sleepy during our walks x

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
