My 20 week old (5 months on 18th) was up 3 times last night and that was one of the best nights we’ve ever had 😂

Oh 😂 that makes me feel better then. My one pretty much does 11pm-3am and 5am sometimes 30 mins earlier on that schedule.

Every 1-2 hours

My daughter is nearly 5 months she’s been getting up 4/5 times until recently it was only 2 last night 🤞she’s teething so don’t think that helps 🙈

Past couple of nights have been better as he woke up 3 times, but for almost a month he was waking 5-6 times a night.. Naps are still crap though 😅

I don’t count how many times my boy wakes up anymore, I’m guesstimating around 5-6 times. We co-sleep and EBF which means I can just chill out about the wakings rather than winding myself up waiting for him to “sleep through the night”.
I only changed my mindset in the last couple weeks and it’s made all the difference, I just had unrealistic expectations before

Unrealistic for us I have to say! Some babies will achieve through the night sleeping but I can just tell that’s a very long way away for us 😂

Try klearvol sleep tight pillow mist, my lo kept waking up but now sleeps through.. only used it three times but now he just sleeps through the night - touch woood.

@Hope I like this idea, it's only in the last few nights I've started to not get my phone out and time the night feeds like I used to. Most of the time I just get my boob out (co-sleeping and EBF) and he goes right back off to sleep and so do I! I only actually get up once now for a nappy change so I feel like he's sleeping great even though he still wakes for a feed 6-8 times 😂. For me it's comforting that frequent night wakes is preventative of SIDS.

Do you girls offer one breast per time when they wake up or two? I do one but wonder if I should offer both

yesss xx

Yes!!!! I know… it’s exhausting🫣

Yes 😞

Haha yes and I don't know if it's something I am not doing

Yes! Sometimes he only wakes up for 10 mins sometimes 1-2 hours but disturbs my sleep so even when I get 8 hours of broken sleep I still feel exhausted!

I tried to let her cry for three or four nights to try and stop her from waking up before midnight but I think my sleep was even worse because I was awake for more than an hour listening to her crying and then she woke up after an hour of finally being asleep anyway. So now I just get up

I offer one usually! Just because I’m so tired and he falls asleep after 5/6 mins so there’s no point for us really!! My LB has woken once the past two nights and slept 7.45pm to 8am but sadly for me I was up from 2.30 lastnight I’ll 🥲🥲 but since his second jabs he woke 2/3 times.. not sure if it’s back to once or if it’s just a one off 🤣xx

My boy usually sleeps from 8-8 but wakes up at 12 & 4 (ish) for a bottle etc! Xx

Yes usually 3 times

this is the same as mine 😭 when people said the newborn stage was tough this is harder for me

this is refreshing to hear! I think it’s when I constantly hear how well other people babies sleep though
