Sweep and induction help

I am 39+4 now and there is no sign of baby making an exit (no show or waters going), I am definitely ready to not be pregnant now also!😂

My midwife said she will offer me a sweep on Tuesday and then book my induction but I feel like I don’t know enough about the two. Can anyone tell me their experiences of both or either and how they affect labor please🙏🏼

I’m 39+3 and feel the same.
I’ve had 2 sweeps already, got another booked on Thursday which is my due date. My consultant wanted my midwife to get me an extra sweep in tomorrow so I’ve had 4 before my due date but I’ve been unable to get in touch with them.

My baby also 8lb 10 already so they’re going to let me go 7 days over then book me in for induction if I don’t go into spontaneous labour x

I’ve had 2 sweeps already and am booked to be induced on Saturday day after my due date I don’t think the sweep always works it’s one of them sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t but good luck hope it goes well 😊xx

Hey! I’m having my 4th sweep Wednesday they all failed so far🙃😂 if baby doesn’t come before I’m being induced Friday I’m 40+2 don’t be afraid to ask your midwife lots of questions I talk the head off mine there’s no question too little or silly xxx

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

If this is your second child are you/have you given your eldest a present “from baby”

If so what did you give them because I am stuckkkkkkk, due next week so really need to get a wriggle on to get sorted 😂
