I’m 39+2 but since hitting around 38 weeks, I cannot sleep through the night at all, I’m up till all hours of the morning till around 4/5am and it’s becoming a habit of sleeping all morning till lunch time then!😩 anyone else experiencing this atm? Not sure if it’s mother instincts kicking in with staying alert through the night or whether it’s just nerves getting the better of me being so close to my section🙄

🙋🏽♀️ same here! Was awake the other night until 4am 🫠 struggling to get to sleep and also staying asleep. Third trimester joys! 🫣 (38 weeks)

that was literally me today! Woke up at 3.20pm so bad 😂😂😂😂 xx

oh bless you, gonna be the same for I think, I have my c section tomorrow and I know damn well I am not going to sleep at all from here on out!😂😂 xx

thank you!!❤️ xx

I manage to fall asleep early cause I'm exhausted but I do wake up every hour and a half to pee lol. What really helps is I listen to oxytocin Soundwave on YouTube, it helps with insomnia and also sends out the oxytocin hormone while I sleep.

I had this in my first pregnancy. It's really sodding annoying so I can absolutely empathise. Best thing to do , I found, was to get out of bed and do something like read , colour, listen to an audiobook / music and eventually I'd start to feel tired again. But they do say that even just lying there in pregnancy awake is still resting. Xx

This is me too! 38 weeks and I’m not sleeping much during the night but then I’m sleeping from like 7am to 11am and wasting half the day and waking up feeling so groggy.
