Big present

Can someone please please help on what “big present” I can get my little boy for Christmas 🎄?? I cannot for the life of me find ANYTHING. I feel like he’s still abit too small for a toy kitchen etc😭.

We are getting play kitchen and lots of little gifts. He already plays with kitchen utensils a lot, and we are trying to get him involved in meal prep with us. He loves standing on hit kitchen tower and helping put veggies in the bowl while tasting them 😅
And he plays with kids kitchen at the nursery as well.
So now he is getting his own.

We have brought my little boy a tonie box and his nanny has got him a play kitchen. We found he loves the play kitchen at nursery, plus found the one in ikea and loved it. If you think they may be too small try picking one that has more floor level things to do like has more cupboards/washing machine or something lower to open and interact with ?

My little boy loves his ride along car so something like that might be a good idea? Or a supermarket trolley. My little boys loves moving things from a to b. We also love our dj bouncing beats, that can entertain him for a while and/or a music table, ours is 2nd hand but he loves to stand at it and make all the noises. X

can you please tell me what a Tonie box is??? I’ve seen LOTS of posts about people getting their little ones one and loving it but I have no clue what it is even with me looking it up 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣xx

It cost a lot of money for what it does. We bought Kids Alexa on prime days which is loaded with kids stories and music and our son loves listening to Gruffalo.

I will consider Tonie box when he is a bit older maybe but for now I would prefer the Talking Flash cards. (Much cheaper and helps speech development )

Tonie box - Very has a peppa pig one for £65. If you go through top Cashback you get a further 15% off so £55.25. And if you don’t have top Cashback here’s a referral link for another £10 off https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/Louflem/?source=App-iOS-TAFPage
Means you can get a Tonie box for £45.25. Normally £80 ish!

Kitchen is great present, I always think it’s good to get stuff they can grow into so it lasts longer. We got kitchen for her first birthday and she plays with it everyday.
Dolls house / push bike / scooter. Trolley or baby and pram. Train sets

When our daughters are grown

Are we teaching them that circumcised boys are dirty and unclean?

You’re at the check out and notice the cashier gives you senior citizen discount. You’re very clearly under the cut off. Would you be excited for the extra savings or offended?

Turns out Monday morning at my Kroger and the lady slipped it in without saying anything. This has happened to my mom before and we were both obviously happy with a random discount but one of my sisters in law said she’d die if that happened to her because she’d be so embarrassed 😂

Something you’d never buy second hand?

What is something you’d never buy second hand and can’t believe people do. For me it’s clearly very worn shoes or mattresses🥴

Marriage struggles

Can someone who has had bad marriage problems before and gotten through it message me? I feel so alone in the situation I'm in and can't talk to my family about it and my unmarried friends are no help. Saying "just leave" is not helpful. If you can relate please comment so I can message you. I just really need either advice or just someone to talk to. Thanks 🩵

Childcare Funding help

So my LO is under 2 and goes to nursery 2 full days a week. Me and husband both worked and got the 30 government funded hours. However my husband has recently lost his job of 8 years due to the company going under.

The worst part is he lost his job the day before I gave birth to our second child. So now I'm on rubbish maternity pay and he's got no earnings.

I'm wondering if we still entitled to any funded hours or not? I just don't want my LO to lose his place as obviously my husband is trying to get a job and when I go back to work we will need the childcare.

Has anyone been in this situation? Is there a grace period? Tyia!
