Side with Israel

The israel that stands now isn't the Israel that once was and hasn't been for 2000 years. To claim the jews are his people is to completely ignore the entire purpose of Jesus coming to bring his covenant to both jew and gentile alike. We can't support a zionist ethnostate that has killed and dislocated millions of native palestinians for a bunch of strangers. This is no different than manifest destiny.

it’s not about the descendants per say, it’s about Gods covenant. Gods mercy on us gentiles will result in Gods mercy towards Israelites. God has chosen people Jews and gentile alike. We should still pray for people who are in Israel to come to the faith of Jesus Christ.

@Dora That's the thing in supporting the israeli government they will never turn to Christ because that is a modern zionist jewish state they reject Jesus and Christians they spit on us and see us no better than dogs that is the reality of the government you are trying to defend. It wasn't established by God it was established by the UN in 1947 and this is what a lot of Christians don't seem to understand because they assume the same name means same place. We can pray for peace in the middle east without supporting the genocide because that is what supporting israel entails. Genocide of the palestinian people.

I didn’t say “government” I can’t even say I “support” our American government. Everything you say is still biblical. The Bible is clear, don’t be conceited because the same way we needed Gods mercy and forgiveness is still on those people. God is clear of their disobedience and rebellion. But He still also said there is a remnant elected by grace. And if we know that the true righteousness is by faith and not law, then any Israelite who would believe and call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So, we can still pray for them that they may be saved.

@Dora Yes pray for them but in saying stand with israel you are supporting the israeli government whether you want to view it as such or not. The bible is extremely clear we are all Gods chosen people if we choose to be israelis don't get a pass to kill others to make space for themselves just cause they decided to name themselves like an ancient civilization that was already crumbling when Jesus roamed the Earth

I’m not saying anyone gets a pass to kill… and true I should not use that phrase bc it’s not the nation I’m meaning to stand for but Israelites the people. They can still be grafted in despite their wickedness.

well that’s a given. But the Bible says even though Israel is rebelled there’s still a chosen remnant who are not far from Christ… it might not be the gov or the whole nation but there’s still people there that actually believe Gods mercy and forgiveness …. Most of Israel and Palestine are not following the real living God anyhow, but it doesn’t mean we make nations our enemy.

Your precious Israel just bombed a Catholic Church and a Christian hospital in Palestine. They do not care about Christian’s, or any innocent lives. All they care about is the destruction of all palestinian people

if you’re a woman of faith and read the Bible, you should understand a lot more of how all of this is biblically sound. The murder is unfortunate but all of us are sinners who had to be at the hand of Gods mercy. No one is righteous without Jesus. God instructs His REAL children to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ, for those who are considered enemies, for others over ourself. Check yourself before you comment ignorance. you’ll pray for the dictators who are committing mass genocide, but not even a single mention of those innocent Palestinian lives that have been taken by them. Im not a “woman of faith” I’m still figuring out what I believe religiously, I was never Christian but I’ve been leaning into Christianity.

okay that explains it then. You’re basically telling me “you’ll pray for the lost but not the saved?” I didn’t mention Palestine bc their affliction is quite obvious. I didn’t need to mention to pray for both because in the real followers of God faith, we DO pray for both. It’s a given. You can woman of faith but if it’s self righteousness you’re seeking after instead of Gods righteousness you will never come to the true faith. The true faith of God says love your enemies pray for those who persecute you. And that includes the entire body of Christ. You can call me whatever but God never said go out and be people pleasers.

lady you titled this post “side with Israel” it is not in any was obvious that you’re acknowledging Palestinian affliction. It just immediately seems as if you’re encouraging people to take the side of Israel with regards to their stance on Palestine.

yeah I made a comment on this thread a few days ago that I shouldn’t have used that phrase. & I didn’t acknowledge Palestine due to their affliction being obvious, to those at least paying attention to what’s going on anyway.
