We originally bought a 3-6 month nappy for our 4 month old and it was tiny, we returned it and swapped for a 6-12 month. He is now 5 months and started lessons but the nappy is sooo tight and difficult to put on. My LO is not happy when it is put on and I don't blame him. I don't want to go up a further size in case it then doesn't hold anything in. Interested to know what size everyone is using and whether they are just difficult to get on or does anyone have any other recommendations for swim nappies as the happy nappy isn't a requirement where we go. TIA

Mines in the medium the 3-6 and I’ve just ordered the next size off Vinted (I get the happy nappy/wetsuit combined) they are supposed to be quite tight like a wetsuit, but obviously you don’t want baby distressed either.
Maybe try the next size and see how it is, as long as there’s a good seal around the seams it shouldn’t leak

We’ve got a 3-6 month one and it’s tiny too!! I was told it was fine because the idea is that it doesn’t let poo out… but I really struggle to get it on. But the same brand 3-6 month wetsuit is huge

I sized up on the happy nappy and it is still super tight! But I turn them inside out, put the legs through and flip it back the right way onto his bum which makes it easier to put on!

I got these instead as they are adjustable. Really rate them as my disposable swim nappy failed but this saved the day 🙊

I just got one from home bargain that's does the same thing and was £5.99. Then he wears a little wet suit over the top. https://www.bambinomio.co.uk/products/swim-nappy?currency=GBP&variant=42739075711176&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=8ae6380e98d5&gclid=CjwKCAjwvrOpBhBdEiwAR58-3Hm0Yz5sP451UDUZVMEOxmwq5qSLLCTOu-_Z3KZsdB2jR2Lko4FjYhoCJ3YQAvD_BwE
