Same! In January would love to hear anyone’s experiences!!

My cousin said it was horrible 3 years ago but I’ve read a lot of positive reviews since the. So I’m not sure but I like them so far and I’m also due in Jan .crazy if we all end up there the same week

I heard they was good. Food including. I just gave birth in Harlem hospital and I love it there had all three kids at HH but I’ve heard good things about mount sinai

I had both my deliveries at Mount Sinai. Two different location though. Both times I had my own room. The first room had a pull out couch where my husband was able to sleep the second room we weren’t so lucky we had a recliner. Maybe bring a pillow and sheets with you if you having someone staying with you. Also the food was not the best but not the worst I deff had my mom and mother In law bring me home cooked meals. Especially since you don’t want to eat so heavy since you have to use the bathroom before they let u go home. The nurses were extremely nice. Be prepared to have no sleep at all since they are always checking on you unless you ask them to not visit during a time. Good luck on your delivery!

I gave birth in the one located in the upper east side, my experience was great, everyone extremely kind and helpful and the food was good. No complaints. I brought my own pillow and sheets tho.

I gave birth there in May and had a pretty good experience. The labor/delivery room is a bit small and only had one recliner (my mom took it of course) so my boyfriend had to sit in a regular plastic chair for the entire 12 hours that I was in labor. The room that they move you to afterwards is much larger and comfy also the bathrooms are really nice. They also have futon sofas. I personally didn’t care for the food, so we used uber eats pretty often. I had a c section so I was there for about 4 days and the nurses were super sweet and helpful.

My experience was great! I gave birth in June and the doctor team in my labor room was very helpful and helped me push my baby out in like 15 mins. My nurse caretaker afterwards was very helpful as well and took great care of me. Besides having to be in recovery for 2 days, then my last night getting a postpartum room; the postpartum room was huge and I didn’t have to share with anyone. The food was good when I was hungry 😂 but my man was also bringing me food. But overall I would give the food a 7/8 out of 10. The doctors and nurses there were more attentive to you and cared more. I had switched over from being at Mount Sinai East and I didn’t feel like I was receiving half the care that I was getting at MSW. At MSE they were not telling me certain things during my pregnancy and I feel like they were just being plain rude at times. It was really the ghetto 🙄🙄

I gave birth there in May and had an amazing experience!!! The nurses were incredibly attentive through the birth and our entire 2-day stay. I was induced and talked me through everything. Anything I needed they came right away, checked on us consistently, and had a lot of knowledge. As a first time mom, it was soo comforting knowing I could rely on them. And the food was surprisingly great!! I definitely wasn’t expecting good hospital food lol, but every meal I ate was delicious and big portions.
One piece of advice I’d give is to ask for a lactation consultant right away - I gave birth at 11pm so they weren’t there until the morning, and they did come both mornings I was there, but they wouldn’t have come the first morning if I didn’t ask a few times bc I wasn’t being discharged yet. But they were soo helpful!

Had my girl at MSW Manhattan in June and the hospitality was standard and overall a pleasant experience. The food was yummy, hot and sufficient for my husband and I. Everything for baby and mum was provided diapers, formula (if you need) baby vest and swaddle, hat, postpartum care supplies and all the professional support including lactation consultation, pediatrician and all.. We were in a private room and there was the pull out bed for my husband to sleep on.
