Hey y’all! I am scheduled for my C-section a week from today and would love to hear any experiences other moms have had having a C-section at North Central Baptist. Were you able to hold the baby immediately or have to wait for recovery? Etc. Any insight would be great 😊

Just had mine on September 1st and no issues. I held mine and took pictures right after birth and he stayed in our room until he had to go to the NICU due to breathing issues.

I had mine last June. They were very nice and helped it feel not so scary. One of the nurses held my hand during the procedure. The epidural was quick and just a quick pinch, not as painful as I thought it would be. My son was born 2 months premature, so I didn’t get to hold him afterwards, he went straight to the NICU. I was taken to recovery immediately afterwards.

I didn’t have a C-section there but I had my baby there in July and let me just say their staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Their nurses are the sweetest and they treat you like royalty… seriously. I want to have another baby just to go back 🤣

I had my first one in February this year at north central with a C-section. So feel free to write me privately with questions if you like.
