I didn’t get any stretch marks with my first, I used the palmers cocoa butter and Everden golden belly serum throughout my pregnancy. However with my second I would moisturise but probably not as often with my first, whilst I used some products I still ended up with stretch marks.
I used the Palmer’s lotion throughout and had a good experience (no stretch marks on my belly) despite gaining 35 pounds. I’m using Bio Oil now for massaging my scar from emergency c-section. I’m optimistic, but it’s new to me, and my intentions with it are different than yours (no longer stretch mark focused). Wishing you a lovely, healthy pregnancy. Remember that everyone’s skin is different. Hopefully, you’ll find what works best for you.
Unfortunately no creams or oils will keep you from stretch marks. It's all about your genetics. But lotion will help keep your belly from itchy and its a good bonding moment for you and baby. I hardly had any stretch marks with my first and they faded a few months after birth.
I used palmers lotion. I didn’t get stretch marks until week 35. I don’t think they prevent stretch marks, but help with itchiness and dryness. They may prevent the stretch marks from being too bad.
I focused on hydrating & nourishing from the inside. Make sure you drink lots of water but not plain. A little sea salt and lemon is all you need, or an electrolyte powder of some kind. I try to stay away from the sugary ones. Also sea salt is super good for you. Avoid iodized salt as it just makes you bloat & swell. Sea salt actually helps your body stay hydrated!
Alot of it is down to genetics unfortunately. My mum had terrible stretch marks from being pregnant with me, & I have some large ones from my son. They do fade over time. It is good though to still use a lotion or good body moisturiser for the skin & also hydration is always important x
I use both of these! I put the lotion on first and then the oil on top, on my butt, tummy and boobs daily😊 They have faded out the stretch marks that were already there and haven’t got any new ones throughout my pregnancy
I hated the Palmers one made me itch and would not sink in my skin. I used secret saviours though I stopped wearing the bands at 31 weeks because I was worried about anything preventing baby going head down. I also stopped using the cream so religiously after about 35 weeks but my bump hardly grew from 35 - 40 weeks, baby just got very squished. Still none there 2 weeks pp but had an emergency c section anyway so didn't matter that I got the baby head down and a scar is a lot bigger than a stretch mark But its all worth it! I also took Electrolytes every day from 20 weeks but to prevent leg cramps. Didn't occur to me it could help prevent stretch marks
I used these two together and it helped with itching soooo much.
Whatever you choose just remember to keep applying it postpartum!! Fast weight loss the first couple of weeks also can give you stretch marks!
I used bio oil and didn’t get any stretch marks
i did everything possible, still got them
Just drink loads of water and moisturise for itching Can't avoid them but water can help with colour x
You will get or not get based on genetics, but ensuring your skin stays elastic could help the angryness of them. I've used the cocoa butter and ive got stretch marks but they're not red or dark 🤷🏻♀️

Take a collagen supplement (I have a chocolate powder that I like) and use Cantella serum with tallow over the top. Worked wonders for me. Tbh it’s really genetics though my mom didn’t get stretch marks either. Hydration is also super important.
Both work so well on me. I don't grow any stretches. Remember to put them on the hips and inside of the thighs as well. I use both of them in your picture, 3 times a day.
I used the right one and got no stretch marks. Fingers crossed same happens this time. 🤞🏻
I had both of those and also a German Weleda belly oil. Bio oil wad my favorite! I still got a few stretch marks on the bottom but they faded a lot after over a year. I'm pregnant again now and keep forgetting to use stuff. The advice about nutrition and drinking water sounds like the most effective thing anyone could do. I need to do that! This pregnancy I am also using jojoba oil and Shea butter on my belly.
I used both of these twice a day and didn’t get any stretch marks during pregnancy… then they showed up on a week or so AFTER I’d given birth and my stomach had shrunk back down. I had stopped using the creams and oils after I gave birth thinking I’d escaped stretch marks so I’m definitely blaming that 🤣
Currently using a mixture of Bio Oil and Aveeno Body Skin Oil (which smells incredible 😍) and I’m passed 37 weeks with no stretch marks but I think it is down to individual genetics but I thought I would at least try to keep skin moisturised.
Are you trying to prevent or treat stretch marks?
Secret saviours worked for me last time. No stretch marks and my mum got them with me… the trick is to also gain weight slowly too as I also think that helped
You can put all the creams/ oils on but sometimes they just appear. I didn’t gain extra weight when pregnant (apart from the actual baby ) and I applied creams but still got stretch marks x
So, I think it's all genetics. I used Bio oil, but I'm pretty sure if I didn't, the outcome would be the same.
I used both bio oil and the cocoa butter throughout pregnancy and still got a few stretch marks on my stomach at the end of my pregnancy, but I do wonder whether they’d have been worse had I not used anything.
I used bio oil and take collagen supplements. No stretch marks at all, first baby.
I used bio oil all throughout my first pregnancy (hated the smell too) and I got some small stretch marks. Used nothing during my second, didn’t moisturise once and didn’t get any. I was big by the end too but grew more steady. It’s down to genetics and how quickly you grow x
Bio oil in the morning palmers at night
Iv been using the Mama Mio tummy cream, and haven’t got one stretch mark so far🤞🏼

Either is fine but as sometime else said it's largely genetics. Keeping hydrated with a good diet may help a little, and using a moisturizer certainly won't do any harm. I didn't really use anything for my first pregnancy and only had 3 stretch marks that appeared in the final week. This time im only moisturizing if it feels itchy
I used the my little coco oil and didn’t have any stretch marks 🤷🏽♀️
Used a little bio oil but mainly the Palmers stretch marks lotion during my pregnancy. Now that my tummy is shrinking (5 weeks PP) I have stretch marks near my belly button
I used the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter lotion in your pic and never got stretch marks on my belly.
These won’t prevent you getting stretch marks as they’re based on the genetic make up of your skin but they’ll keep your skin soft. No creams, oils or supplements will stop you getting stretch marks. I used these & neither my mum nor grandma got stretch marks but I did. They fade, I haven’t thought about mine since before I gave birth 😁
