Weaning off of milk

A year old! I introduced milk with food first and then transitioned slowly!

I’m starting too cause I found out I’m pregnant and my supply dried up. But I’ve got enough stored he should have breast milk through his first birthday in Dec. it’s been hard though. He wants to nurse but gets frustrated and bites me. That was my first clue. But as I get closer I’m gonna start mixing breadstmilk and formula or reg milk so he gets used to the taste before it’s gone.

So my boys 9 and a half months and weve been doing purées and sommme solids since 6 months but he still does a good 3 to 4, 6-8oz bottles. We had a check up today and the said we should do 4-6 oz every 4 hours with 3 6-8 meals of food

At 11.5 months I started mixing BM with whole milk. We’re 1 on Friday and almost fully on whole milk 🥲🥳

Started at 14 months! Just down to morning sessions now. We’ve been working on her nap one but it’s been a toughie for her to let go. Before her nap she gets unfettered access so she has all the connection she needs. I nursed her to sleep for her naps. She occasionally asks after her nap but I offer a snack or a drink when she asks and she’s normally happy with that.

At around 1 yr also . But I introduced soy milk. he’s been having that ever since .

1 year. No alternative milk or formula as she didn’t like it. I slowly reduced feeds till she could sleep without it.

Around 1 year we started transitioning to whole milk, it took a couple months

did you continue to give formula or did you switch to toddler formula ?

what did you do to transition? Did you do half and half?

He turned one on Saturday and we started doing half BM/half cow milk in his daycare bottles. He doesn't seem to care about the milk change but is really not interested in drinking milk from a straw or sippy cup, so that might be our challenge
