Hi guys! So can someone who’s a mum explain this obsession with expensive nappy bins? Am I missing something?
My partner and I are going to be going compostable nappies. But eventually will be trying the even more environmentally friendly options once we get the swing of parenting.
Just wondering wha the pros are of the nappy bin? Is it just smell and keeping nappies separate from trash? It feels a bit insane to spend a few hundred dollars on a bin and then be locked into expensive refills? Would love oppinions! ❤️❤️🥰❤️

We’re planning to cloth diaper and got a bin, mostly to have somewhere in the baby room to put diapers when they’re dirty and to try to lock in the smell. I want to say ours was only $50-60USD and maybe another $20 for cloth liners for it (that can also be washed). I think it’s helpful to have but I definitely wouldn’t spend hundreds of dollars on one

I've been wondering the same. We asked for the Diaper Genie brand and it was $48 on Amazon. We weren't sure if we needed more than that

@Dana Amazon has their brand of the refill bags that fit perfectly into the diaper genie. I have 2 diaper genies already for both my kids and love it. I'm getting a 3rd for this baby because I will have 3 in diapers and it's just easier to have one in each of their bedrooms. The Amazon refill bags are so much cheaper than the brand name ones and do the exact same thing.

yup! We have those on the registry as well

Oh thanks ladies! I might get one to hedge my bets here! Appreciate it! ❤️❤️
