Baby leg slamming. 🤦‍♀️

I think we're getting into new sleep cycles now at 5 months. Everyone else was having the 4 month sleep regression on time, but I think we got into it a bit later. She's not really sleeping much in the daytime (fights her sleep between feeds now) and fusses and cries unless we let her contact nap. As soon as we put her down she's right back up again. I vaguely remember this in the earlier weeks, but I was probably on so little sleep and the days were probably running together so much that I couldn't recall it clearly. Anyway, is the leg slamming thing worse during the sleep regression? It sure seems like it is with her. Maybe it's just because I'm more on edge due to the long day of her being awake and fussy. I don't know. All I do know is that I'm tired and I sure as heck hope she stays asleep overnight as much as she was awake all day. 😭🙏

My baby started to do a leg kicking thing to help him self soothe when falling asleep. It was something he started doing during his sleep regression. Now he is sleep trained and no longer doing it. He does get a burst of energy before he goes to bed now that includes lots of kicking and moving his arms around.

The leg slamming at 4 am is real.

I had no idea the leg slamming was a thing or that it could be a way if self soothing! I thought it was just my baby and in my mind it was a way to get me to come running.

My son (5 months) has been going through a sleep regression. He has leg slammed since about 2 month😹
His leg slamming is craaaaaaazy. It’s so aggressive I have to make sure I put him down at the top of the crib because by morning he’s at the bottom of the crib and I don’t want him accidentally hurting his feet by kicking the rails 🫠

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
