icandy Orange or Oyster 3

Still can’t decided between the icandy orange or the the oyster 3 travel system.

I have a mini copper and want to make sure they fit in my boot! As the icandy orange is a older model I can’t find in shops to see if it fits.

Personally I’d go for the iCandy.. I bought the oyster 3 travel system my baby last year and then we unexpectedly found out we’re expecting again and unfortunately the oyster doesn’t allow add ons to make it a double.. the oyster is a fantastic pushchair but thinking ahead we wished we had gone for a travel system that would allow us to grow with our family we’re now having to buy a whole new travel system before baby no.2 arrives in 2 weeks 🥲

We have the oyster and love it!
We didn’t want any that were bucket seats as they take up so much space. The oyster can fold with the pushchair seat attached so it’s easier to fit in the boot and store.
I live in a new build estate where half the pavements aren’t tarmacked yet and the oyster is amazing at dealing with rough terrain.
First pram was Silvercross and we had issues with that so chose the oyster and it is honestly amazing.

Whichever travel system you go for, I’d upgrade and get the cybex T cloud car seat though

I was going to get the cubed T cloud seat but found it was really heavy and thought I might struggle to lift it 🤦🏼‍♀️

thank you for your help ! 😊

I don’t find it any heavier than any other car seat. They’re all a bit heavy and annoying to carry. You’re only likely to carry it car to the pram anyway.

I got the icandy orange and I love it! 🫶🏼

I don’t recommend the iCandy orange, bought it for my newborn last year, mainly cos it allows add on and big storage basket. However 3months into using it the front right wheel became problematic and stiff, I contacted support they took it for repair and returned it after two weeks, the problem wasn’t fixed they just did cleaning🤦🏽‍♀️three days after, still thesame problem. In a nutshell it’s not a worth it and their support sucks, many people have thesame issue on the reviews! A friend of mine has the peach and absolutely loves it and hasn’t had any issues. So if you want to go for the iCandy go for this x

I 1000% recommend oyster 3 I love mine and can’t wait to use with number 2 xx

we've bought the oyster 3, it was the one we both picked when we went to the pram shop!
a massive plus for us, is that it isn't huge as we don't have the biggest car so we had to make sure it all fitted!

I’d go for the iCandy.. we loved the oyster 3 but when we tried it at a baby show it was actually quite bulky, not that easy to fold down and rather heavy!

My friend has the icandy Orange and a mini and it doesn’t fit in her car boot

We have an Oyster 3 and we love it. Super lightweight too!

We went for the Oyster 3 and we both love it so much. Its lightweight to push and its just a lovely pram 🥰

We have the oyster 3 and I love it. Seat unit folds down on the frame where as the icandy doesn’t. I don’t find it too heavy, my 2 year old is still comfy in it now x

I have the oyster 3 and I bought a Joie travel after a couple of months because it felt like so much effort putting up and down, it’s also quite heavy so I struggled getting it in and out the car, I can’t comment on the other one but I wouldn’t have an oyster again x

If you’re worried space wise it folds down super compact, and you can take the larger wheels off really easily if they get in the way, I have mine folded underneith my next to me crib currently to save some space

Not drinking

I’m going crazy. Baby born at 2.26kg. Slow to put on weight. This last week hasn’t put on any. Been trying to feed him at night and he’s not interested at all. Fast asleep. During day he will have 5 minute gulps and that’s it. He don’t cry for milk. I’ve got to keep offering to him. I try to offer it every hour but I don’t know what I’m doing. HV said nutrition comes after 5 minutes so I should pump first and then give him. I find it so hard. I tried to pump one boob nothing came. The other abit came. Tried giving him express he’s not interested in that too. Sometimes he will go for a longer a feed but not long at all. He’s 4 months and is currently 5.46kg. I have no family or friend support here and wish I had a cook, cleaner and nanny to help with everything so I can concentrate on the little one. I don’t know what’s wrong with him but I’m loosing it. It doesn’t help that my also stressed generally about my relationship and life circumstances. Any advice that will work. Any comfort you can give. I’m fed up. Is this regression - not feeding. He’s fast fast asleep. I’ve been trying to push the nipple in but that mouth is closed shut. I took some clothes off. Changed his nappy but he’s still asleep. Please help

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
