I'll be selling some original paintings at my friend's coffee shop. For reference they're painted with coffee and take about 3.5 hours to make. The wood frame cost me $4 and they're 4 by 6 inch painting. She says she doesn't sell much over $20. I was thinking selling for $25 but I'm not sure. Any advice?

I think $25 is acceptable, but you should include some sort of card saying how it’s made and whatnot a “note from the artist” to connect with people

For easy math, if you sold for $25, and the frame is $4 and you spent 3 hours on it , you’re only paying yourself $7 per hour (not to mention supplies like paper, paint brushes, etc)
I would value it higher and hopefully the right people will appreciate it. It’s up to you. If you really enjoy making them and just want to make a little money, go for it at $25. Definitely get a placard hung up that explains “about the artist” and your painting process. ❤️

Go on Etsy or eBay, or MINTED- enter into one of Minted’s contests (or just submit this) …. I would ask $35-$40 with shipping- make it a flat rate.
That’s so incredibly unique!! Painted with coffee and the art isn’t in anyway “basic”- you are so talented!!!

Are all your designs similar or do you paint different things…? I think Minted would be THE PERFECT PLACE to get your NAME & ART out there….

I’d be interested depending on the painted design…. U are so very talented!!!!

$50

This is so cute! I love your painting!
