I've been dealing with some intense toothache/abscess and today got that tooth extracted, now suffering post anaesthesia healing pains... For those who've given birth before, which pain is worse for you?

I’ve only had natural births and I’d rather labour pain over toothache 😩😩😩

2 natural births one with no pain relief and would rather do that again than have toothache, labour obviously hurts but once that baby is out and you get that first little cuddle all that pain is so worth it xx

Toothache has reduced me to tears. Made me wanna smash my head against a wall… it’s never ending. 😂🤣
At least with labour, you get breaks and such joy when it’s all over!!!

totally agree I had really bad toothache a few weeks had to phone the emergency dentist and everything was just a constant pain and I cried and said I would rather give birth than be going through that xx

LOL I’m laughing because I can relate 😂🤣 … That pain is no joke though. Wow. Hope you’re all better now x

yea toothache all gone now thankfully on the count down for labour all over again now my youngest is 9 so gunna be a shock to the system doing it all again after so long but all be worth it once she’s here xx

wow! Same here…My ‘baby’ was born in May 2014. Expecting a girl too. How many weeks are you?
I’m up watching videos on YouTube about breathing techniques and positions for labour. Hoping it all comes flooding back when the time comes x

April 2014 my youngest lol am 31+3 due on the 21st, same sure our body’s will just naturally do what they have to do xx

This is an impossible question to answer because everyone experiences pain differently. In labour you will have endorphins which are the bodies natural pain relief and are incredibly powerful. Pain is so subjective and when you’re not actually experiencing it it’s difficult to accurately describe.

My experience is Toothache is much worse than Labour

I have always said I would rather have labor and pushing pain rather then toothpain and I have had four previous kids without any pain management
