Struggling 😩

I’m 39 weeks and I just want this baby out of me!!! I have been terrified of induction my whole pregnancy but I’m at the point that I just can’t take it anymore. 😭 I have been having very severe allergies for two weeks straight (symptoms like a cold) and I’m praying they go away before baby comes. My weekly appointment isn’t until Tuesday so I have no idea how dilated I am but y’all, I am exhausted and want my baby!!! I know it sounds crazy but I would rather elect for a c-section rather than induction, how likely are they to let me do that if I get to 40/41 weeks?

There’s nothing wrong with an elect c section. I have a planned c section thursday doesn’t make it any less than a vaginal birth.

Hi! I feel you! I am 40 weeks tomorrow. Trying to stay positive that she will come on her own. They want to induce me by 41 weeks! I really don't want to be induced. The mental struggle is real!

so no you don’t sound crazy haha but you’re almost to tuesday keep pushing until then and talk to your doctor about a plan and what would fit you best(:

Currently 39 weeks too

Keep pushing mama!

yes it is less than a vaginal birth. So terrified of some pain women opt for their stomachs to get cut open. Dont compare the two. Vaginal birth is less recovery time but yall wanna get cut open cause you dont want to push. I said what i said.

you’re rude asf and for why? It is not less than an vaginal. That’s like saying people who get an epidural went through less than people who went without. Birth is birth. There is different healing processes for different births. Keep your mouth shut if you ain’t got nothing nice to say.

there’s actually a lot of reasons why doctors and women do a planned c section…you don’t know the reasoning behind mine. you can’t come at other women saying we’re less than you when it comes to child birth cause we didn’t do vaginal…Im not any less than of a person or a mom than you are. I brought my child into this world too one way or the other.

and the fact that you can bring down other moms cause we didn’t/couldn’t do it vaginal shows who you are as a person.

39+4 here being induced Thursday and cannot wait

omg people like you drive me insane…. NO ONE has it easier when birthing a child you really thought you were doing something with that comment. i swear some women make profiles on here just to hate on other moms and its ugly. you feel the need to put yourself on a pedestal for what? self righteousness for what? your attitude is ugly and gross and has no business in my comments…. bye

i hope i didn’t come off as talking down on people electing for c-section that was not my intention at all! i know the risks of both and both are hard i just would prefer a c-section than being induced

At the end of the day, you'll have your baby, whether you get induced, go natural, or elect to have a c-section. Don't let ANYONE make you feel less than or weak because you chose one route over another.
I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow, and I'm ready for this girl to be out of me. Scheduled to be induced on Friday, I'd she doesn't come on her own, but I wasn't dilated at all last week, and she was still pretty high up.
You got this, Mama! 💕

Is this normal?

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
