Is anyone else’s partner really not interested in feeling baby move I’m 23 weeks and she’s having a party in there! Is it normal? I guess he might find it alien like just thought as he’s been so happy about me getting pregnant and growing the baby he would be interested?

My partner is never that interested and if he is they will immediately stop kicking anyway 🤣 took him forever to feel our youngest kick as she would just stop as soon as he was near xx

I’m just worried he won’t be interested it it’s not wants :( he’s really bad at showing emotions so I don’t know if im reading into it haha

This is the exact same situation as me. I wouldn’t worry too much!

My baby has been kicking for like two months now. But only the last two weeks they’ve been strong enough for someone to feel. I kept putting his hand there and he’d move it away or complain he’s uncomfortable if he didn’t feel anything right away and I personally feel it’s almost like they’re a bit bummed out that it’s so easy for us to feel but not for them? But they don’t know how to express it.

Now it’s getting more frequent and easier for him to feel her, he’s seeming more interested though.

Just give your partner time. He’ll come round in to it 😊

Mines the same, he puts his hand on for all of 20 seconds and then gets bored! I’ve given up trying lol x

exact same here. Says he’s uncomfortable and can’t feel anything. So what I’ve done is just stop saying when she’s moving etc and stopped asking him to feel. That soon triggered an interest and now he seems to put his hand without me asking.

Mine gets bored of the waiting when I tell him to put his hand on my tummy. He’d rather watch the telly 😂🤣

When we lie down in bed, she starts the party. I put his hand there and he used to get bored easily waiting, but I joked once that if I have to "put up with the rave all day" then he can put up with it a bit at night. I was joking of course, I love feeling her move! Since then, he will rest his jand on bump every night trying to see if she will give him a boot x

Yeah mine too but he explained that he’s more of a visual person. He did feel her but he wasn’t super hyped about it. He said he’s super excited to see her and hold her, and kisses/ rubs my belly all the time 🤷🏻‍♀️

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and having really aching legs and they’re all lumpy and swollen. Above the knee and behind the knee . Should I be worried ? My legs have never looked like this up until a few days ago. ??
