Is anyone else's baby like mine, absolutely no interest in stacking anything and would rather destroy anything that I stack for her π€£π will literally stack two blocks on top of eachother and she'll race over to knock it down π₯²

It's quite normal :) they normally start stacking two cubes on top of each other at around 12 months!

that's reassuring! If you Google good toys for 8 month olds etc there's lots of talk about stacking toys so I just assumed it would be around this age they'd start to have an interest in trying to stack rather than destroying π€£ but good to hear that's not the case!

Both of mine (LB 9m and LG almost 4yrs) have done this. It's perfectly normal, I can't remember when LG started actually stacking them, she just loved/s destruction π

My boy doesn't stack anything. He likes to push it over and then bang them to make noises.
But he does enjoy watching things spin and how things make noise.
I'm a little worried but also just too tired to worry too much

Yeah my son HATES stacking toys lol I tried to show him how to put them on the stacking pyramid and he just throws them like he's playing horseshoes LOL

My girl could spend hours pushing over blocks I stack up for her π
