If you had the epidural there could still be lingering numbness. But it does take a while for your body to reset. I had the epidural and they do the catheter with it so ive had lingering pain similar to a uti and my doctor said to be careful whike healing because it puts you at an increased risk of developing a uti. At your 6 weeks appoitment with your ob I would definitely talk to them about it

Oh yikes. I'm impressed your thinking about sex lol
But a vibrator may be too much while healing.😬
Posting as incognito as I don’t want to feel judged! I’ve tried getting hold of my health visitor but she never answers the phone.
My little boy is 13 weeks old and is breast fed, he won’t take to dummies or anything like that.
Since around maybe 11 weeks he has point blank refused to sleep in his next to me (he’s not been too much of a fan sleeping by himself in his own bed since birth but would sleep in there for a good 5 hours) at night time so for 2 weeks I’ve only been able to get him to sleep in bed next to me on the boob, now he also has not been able to sleep without boob in his mouth and if I move an inch or even go for a wee he kicks off immediately (he just wants to be on my boob throughout the whole night) nothing myself or my partner has tried has worked, I’ve tried pumping and giving him a bottle before bed but that made everything 10x worse to the point he refused to sleep for 4 hours. I’ve even tried leaving the room so my partner can try patting him off/ cuddling him but my boy screams to the top of his lungs until I come back and then he’s fine. He also sleeps absolutely fine during his naps too with the occasional fighting his nap time.
He’s had a sleep regression at 12 weeks and is now out of that sleep regression and is also teething but I just genuinely don’t understand why he’s is like this now! I honestly feel like a prisoner in/ tied down to my own bed at night and I’m also starting to dread bed time as I’m not getting a full nights sleep from where he’s stirring looking for my boob constantly/ looking to make sure I’m still there and where my body won’t let me be in a deep sleep where he’s sleeping next to me.
It’s genuinely getting to the point where I’m feeling down and emotional all the time and where I’m not sleeping properly I’m a lot more snappy with my partner/ others than usual.

So my husband and I are moving from an 3 bedroom 1 &1/2 bath apartment to a 5 bedroom 1bath house.
Well there is 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms down stairs with 1 bathroom. The house is kinda small. We have to cool with window units and heat by gas but the upstairs doesn’t have a heat source I have 2 boys and 2 girls this house would give them their own rooms but my husband is so negative. He wants them sharing rooms. But yet I’m home 24/7 with the kids he works night shift and I feel like I don’t get a say.
Also I want to get rid of my daughter’s bunk bed and get them separate beds and he doesn’t want to do that.
We are currently in our 3 bed and my kids are all in separate rooms. My youngest is in our bed my oldest daughter is in her bed and my boys are separated ones in their room the other is in the living room.
My kids are ages 9,8,7,5 I feel like my boys need their own room my daughters need to be separated also they fight constantly
Am I in the wrong for being upset

Just curious, who all swaddles their babies and if so why or why not?
Me and my partner don't we never have and honestly think our LO hates being restricted anyway!😆

I’m only 2 weeks postpartum and all I want is my man! It’s actually awful having to wait so long! He doesn’t want to take any risks either even though the NHS advice these days is “whenever you feel ready” but he’s struggling to wait for 6 weeks too.
We’re gonna wait because it’s the safest thing to do but damn, it feels longer than the wait for the baby to be born 😩😂

Does anyone else not feel as attracted to their partner after birth, I’m 10 weeks PP, I love my husband very much but everything he does bothers me, I don’t want him to touch me, not ready to be intimate of course but like I just feel were co-existing together. Please tell me the feeling comes back, I don’t want to feel like this forever.

Anyone else experiencing witching hour and how are you coping? What works for you and your baby?
Our little one is 2 weeks old and mostly an angel in the daytime and even happily sleeps in his own cot or moses basket.
But in the evening, either around 7pm or in the middle of the night he absolutely kicks off for a few hours and the only thing that calms him is to be on the boob with white noise on and dimmed lights and just me and him in a room.
Nothing else helps, he hates being swaddled and movement makes him even more frantic. An extra bottle doesn’t help either and he is definitely getting enough milk based on his nappies, feeding habits and weight gain…
I keep seeing ‘if your newborn fusses, try this simple thing’ type videos on Instagram of how to hold them but he isn’t having any of that 🥲
