Hi! So with all our little ones either recently had their first birthdays or coming up, what type of cake did you/are you getting? Are you getting a normal cake? Are they allowed that? Or making a fruit cake or something? Honestly I am clueless! Interested to know and for advice, thanks!

I'm getting or making a normal cake for family to have a slice and making him some baby friendly cupcakes to try. There are lots of recipes on Pinterest

Someone recommended this recipe on a BLW group so I’m going to try it! https://www.fitmittenkitchen.com/healthy-smash-cake/ I’m not precious about regular cake but I thought she could eat more of this one

I’m just getting a normal cake made and giving him a little piece.
There will be mainly older kids at his party as all the family are older kids and we don’t know tons of babies.

We will be having a normal cake and she’ll just have a little slice. We are doing an at home cake smash as well so I’ll look for a better recipe for that one

Same as others, a normal cake and he will have a bit of it :)! x

We're getting a costco birthday cake and he'll have some of that

We’re having a small party with just family so we are getting a cake made but I’m going to do him a health cake he can have
