So turned 40+5 this morning, lost my mucus plug yesterday and all night I’ve had tummy pains but they aren’t period cramps as such, I’m wanting to go empty my bowls but I can’t yet, and the pain is horrendous it’s kept me up all night. Anyone else experience this before going into labour? A lot of lightening crotch more then usual too but stays for much longer then just a couple seconds

I had this exact same thing, but didn’t turn out to be labour for me unfortunately. But with how far along you are, def could be the start of something. Lightening crotch is where baby’s head is positioned I believe, but if you have cramps as such then def track them

I’m 40+2 and I had this all day yesterday but haven’t lost my plug. Feels like lots of pressure on your bowels don’t it! Woke this morning to a mild back ache and pelvic ache on the left to and having a lot of white thin discharge compared to the last few weeks.. hoping labour isn’t far away x

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
